A heartbreaking late goal separated what was a close match between Pierce College’s women’s soccer team and Cypress College as they lost 2-1 in the first round of Regionals on Nov.17 at the Pit. The result was tough on the Brahmas as the match was fairly even with both sides sharing possession and vying for a winning goal all the way until the final whistle.

Code blue emergency is the name of the Pierce College safety system that is going through an investigation to be upgraded. The blue box system is triggered by fake calls more than it is by real emergencies. If you take a walk around all 427 acres of Pierce’s campus, you will notice a pattern of 22 blue emergency boxes scattered consistently throughout the grounds.

Basketball massacres Victor Valley

Spectators and team members witnessed a one-sided game as Pierce College Women’s Basketball team humiliated Victor Valley College at the first game of the season with an upsetting score of 98 to 28. Brahmas started strong with a breaking stampede that shook and shattered the Rams’ defensive and offensive game plan, making Brahmas dominate the entire game from the beginning until that buzzer sound blew at the end of second-half.
