Better with two

Dual quarterbacks at Pierce College has been a success thus far this season. Exavier Johnson and Clinton Granger have shared duties as signal callers with little to no complaints. The two just go out and do their job whenever their number is called. This is unprecedented. The majority of the time this does not work. Every team has their own way of dealing with this kind of situation, usually resulting with one guy edging out the other and taking control. Obviously this has not happened here as both remain equals in the eyes of the coaches and more importantly, their teammates.

Women’s soccer beats nationally ranked Ventura

The women’s soccer team defeated rival Ventura College today, 2-0, at the Soccer Pit.

 

The game remained scoreless until late in the second half, when sophomore forward Erica Vangsness broke through with two goals in two minutes.

 

The first goal came off of an assist by Ani Eshoei in the 81st minute, and the second off of a shot from outside the box in the 83rd minute.

 

Vangsness has now scored seven goals in five games.

 

With the win, the Brahmas improved their overall record to 4-0-1.
