The Pierce College Harvest Festival has a newly-added animated character, Spookley the Square Pumpkin, who delivers a top notch show with a moral endearing to young children. The friendly, adorable square pumpkin whose motto is, “Sometimes being different makes all the difference in the world,” can be seen at the festival daily every 30 minutes until 6 p.

Spooky house scares socks off
The moon was full, the crowds were large, the night stood still and then a sharp cutting shriek pierced through the ear. Welcome to the Pierce College Halloween Harvest Festival. It has been a great success that really lives up to its name. Large crowds of adults, teens and children gather to go to the festival on the corner of De Soto Avenue and Victory Boulevard .
Homecoming Invites Everyone
Everybody is invited to activities of Pierce College annual homecoming on campus football field started at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28. The admission for students is $3 and $5 for others. The homecoming will continue through the football game, which is against Ventura College started at 7:00 p.
Making a change
Pierce College hasn’t always been the thriving, successful and economically established school that it is today. Only six years ago, Pierce’s campus had some issues. That is, until the campus’ current Vice President of College Development, Dr. Tom Oliver came to its rescue in 2000 and helped turned the school’s future around.
Clubs Lead Students Know Their School Better
Hundreds of Pierce College students were attracted to campus walkway for Club Rush, which was organized and supported by Associated Students Organization (ASO) from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. Oct. 11 and 12. “It was very successful,” said Artur Shmukler, the president of ASO Club Council.
‘Jackass Number Two’ more asses for the masses
Johnny Knoxville does it again with the R-rated newest installment of the Jackass empire, “Jackass Number Two.” Here is a little history lesson for those unfamiliar with Knoxville and his crew: “Jackass” was an MTV show that was the go anywhere, do anything series.
A Harvest Celebration
A Harvest Celebration Wednesday was the annual Pierce and Valley College Hillel Sukkot celebration at Pierce College. But this year the Pierce/Valley Hillel joined forces with the Chayalim club for the festivities. Sukkot is a joyous harvest celebration to give thanks for the earths bounty and is celebrated over a one week period.

This is based on the Harvest Festival going on right now. I was only able to do a review on this food court because the other areas refused to let me have a sample for the review. I had a bit of trouble but I would gladly appreciate any comment to imrove my article and also for future reference. thank you.
Counseling: Tips at the Sip
A cup of joe and tip or two for you. Last week was the start of a semi-new walk-up counseling program at the Pierce College Freudian Sip. Students can find a counselor at a designated table at The Sip every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon and every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.
Polls favor bond #3
More than half of the 1,000 voters who responded to a recent telephone survey favored an additional $2.85-billion third bond proposed by the L.A. Community College District (LACCD), but the board of trustees have not yet decided when, or if, to put the measure on the ballot.
